Losing a loved one does not mean one has to say goodbye. In my research, I spoke to dozens of individuals who had experienced supernatural post-death contact with a deceased loved one. I want to thank all those who contributed to make this research possible. After 22 in-depth interviews and 47 anonymous survey responses, the article below is my master’s thesis that was defended on January 23, 2026 and submitted as my capstone for my Master’s degree in Sociology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I will be graduating in May 2026.

It is currently being revised for submission to an academic journal.

I will be presenting this work at the Midwest Sociological Society’s Annual Conference in St. Louis on March 28th.

But that’s not the end of the story. I hope to continue this research into my PhD program and will update this website as new information becomes available. Thank you for your interest and support during this year-long process.
